A core aim of the STRiDE project is to develop research capacity in the seven STRiDE countries. We will develop research skills in economics, policy analysis and use of evidence in policy-making to underpin sustainable and equitable responses to dementia in each country. The training will centre on producing the project’s research outputs; training for researchers will focus on producing the research tools while training for Alzheimer’s associations will focus on use of research evidence and tools to support service delivery and policy activities.

Our training programme will be developed on the basis of a skills and capabilities audit of the STRiDE team to identify both their training needs and their ability to contribute to training other colleagues.

Training modules will be delivered face-to-face or via webinars. Training sessions will be video-recorded and, together with teaching materials, made available online.
